Understanding:

The most important task that was accomplished this week was meeting with the client.  Our team was at a point where we needed a lot of questions answered and some ideas about how to move forward.  This week’s goals were met and plans were made to begin the storyboarding and prototype.

Applying:

Before this week we had been moving forward with our assignments.  We did not have to have a lot of contact with our client but as we progress, that is not the case.  Meeting with the client as vital to our project.  We were able to get answers and ideas.  Without this meeting we could not have determined if video would need to be produced or cited as part of the instruction.

Analysis:

The strategies, skills and procedures used were effective for this week.  Setting a plan to meet with the clients and executing it helped us move along the agenda and accomplish our question and task list.  Keeping to the agenda kept us on track and our hour was used effectively.  The approach the team made was worked and will be used again for future meetings.

Evaluation:

This week went well for all of us.  We are learning more and more that communication is vital not only to each other but to our client as well.  It is equally important to make sure we are all on the same page and understand the expectations as we move forward.  In terms of progressing as a learner…I have l learned more in these past 7 weeks than I have in a few semesters combined.  Nothing can replace this hands-on capstone event.

Creation:

The next goal is to prepare for the video shoot.  There is so much to think about and do just in the prep work.  I am hopeful the team will be able to get there a little early and set up before the SME arrives.  It is going to be vital that all the equipment, lighting, sound, etc. is functioning and ready to go.
