This week was spent finishing the prototype, resolving issues, addressing concerns, working on the narration, and making contact with the clients.  The team is in a phase that is causing everyone to work harder on the project as well maintaining communication.  It just doesn’t seem like there are enough hours.  This project is moving at full force and juggling multiple responsibilities is keeping the team busy.

Remembering:  This week I…

-Continued to edit video
-Made contact with the SME about the video narration
-Submitted the prototype to clients
-Reviewed documentation edits
-Met with teammates
-Reviewed prototype
-Reviewed instructional content
-Stayed in constant communication with team members about various tasks
-Wrote the team’s 15/5 and submitted to Dr. Grant

I continue to work on the video as well as communicate with my fellow teammates and clients.  I received the approval for the script and working with the narrator.  The team has been working very hard to meet the deadlines.  It has been a challenge but we are getting there.

Keeping the communication going is something I have done in other group projects.  This is the first time I have been a project manager and I am learning some very valuable lessons that will assist me in future team projects.

It is necessary to maintain a pattern of constant communication.  My teammates are great and work very hard.  Keeping the communication with them and the clients is a juggling act.  It is going well but I have to stay on top of it 24/7.  Our clients play a huge role in our project and we want to ensure they are happy as we work to fulfilling our course requirements.

The communication is going well.  Our clients seem to be happy and they have been very good about giving us feedback.  Our team continues to work at getting our goals accomplished and everyone is stepping in when necessary to help each other.

My next step is to finish the video and assist my teammates in any other work that is needed.  In addition, I will schedule times for our field trials.
